My Artistic Journey

Hi Guys, this is my entry for The Artistic Journey Challenge

I was trying to think on a way to explain my personal journey as an artist, I didn't knew quite well how to aproach the whole concept since it is a little bit subjective
the way you have to express the idea, it could be done in a rational way or all the way to a more abstract expression, between those two concepts there's a lot of possibilities,
so I choosed something more rational, but adding some fantastic or cartoon-ish elements so it wasn't boring xD

So I treated the template in the way that the left part would be my past, where I come from and the right side would be my present and future...

From the top left you can see the house where i grew up, and also some of the pets I had (now that I think about it we almost had a farm xD) I lived in the suburbs in Venezuela. I was always drawing
but I was very desorganized with all of the drawings I did back then, that was until I moved to Caracas, that's tha capital, there I bought a sketchbook, I still keep it, and it gave me the habit not to leave
home without it, there we had these two funny parrots that hated me for no reason xD, anyways, I was getting better and started to get a lot of inspiration from anime, let's see if you can guess some references

After living in the city for three years, my mom got a job here in Barcelona, now that's the right side of my journey, This is one of the most bohemian, artistic and cosmolitan cities, here I've improved my art more than ever.
I drew for the first time on an easel, bought a digital tablet and finished my artistic bachelor. Now I'm studying Illustration and doing the final project on The Arts and Design school Llotja, hopefully I'll finish it this december
This past summer I got the awesome opportunity to travel to honolulu in hawaii and do a collab with Mr. Jasper Wong, an amazing artist, winning that contest gave a boost to my spirit and it was an experience I'll never forget

The final part of my journey is still to be told, my dreams are to work for a games company as a concept artist, and travel a lot, I would like to see the world, but who knows, maybe I'll end up doing something else, like animation, 
a new passion I'm currently enjoyng.
